Nope...it's zombies again. This time, new action figures that are truly unique. Every time I think I've seen it all in action figures (a million points of articulation! interchangeable everything!), someone does something unexpected. This time, Todd McFarlane nailed it with the new Walking Dead action figures coming out this fall.

[/caption]I am completely hooked on the AMC series version, so I was thrilled to see how accurately they were able to capture the actors. Facial scans did the trick beautifully. But being McFarlane, they took it to a new level. From a zombie biter with a spring-loaded jaw to the best feature of all: you can take the zombies apart. We don't have these in yet (pre-orders only just now), but it is being reported that when you pull off heads and limbs, these action figures are full of gross zombie guts! Sweet!
