could you get into Nevada, probably in Las Vegas. that would increase the income for bolt the wbo and toywiz.com, because of the huge population, and the visitors and tourists. please take this reply into account, because this could add a lot of profit. thanks.

Hey! I think Vegas sounds like a great idea. WBO has been organizing the events, so we really aren't able to help choose locations. I think they're doing it based on places where people are willing to host tournaments. Have you tried going through their forums to get something hosted near you?

They are most likely trying to drum up something in Vegas. Go on the WBO and check it out! They had a tourney not to long ago.

All the tournaments are organized through WBO forums, I think they're looking for hosts to do tournaments in a lot of regions.

Hello everyone,

To anybody wondering, the World Beyblade Organization is completely fan-run, so if someone wants a tournament in a certain region, then an organised, responsible, knowledgeable and trustworthy person who lives in that area has to take the initative to plan a tournament there !
This also means that we make no profit at all, by the way. Fan-run, non-profit : what the fans give to us, we give back to them, because we are fans too.

For this first Showdown, we were indeed slightly cautious to choose locations that should definitely get the minimum of eight participants per tournament. Other locations like Texas were not so 100% sure, therefore we did not put it on our list of tournaments to really consider. We had an event in a town there a few weeks ago and something might have gone wrong, plus the initial organiser is busier now, so currently it would just not work unfortunately.

But we have tournaments all year long, so there might eventually be a tournament in your region just for you !

Thanks Kai-V. The World Beyblade Organization has a fantastic system for setting up tournaments, so please be sure to check in with their forums to try to arrange things in your area. The Summer Spin Showdown event is already underway, but they work to help hold tournaments year-round!

I registered weeks ago (for the Florida contest Aug 20) and did not receive a confirmation email. I reapplied today.

Bebs said...

HI and thanks. I'm afraid the confirmations aren't working correctly, but we have your information! I'm sorry for the confusion, but your registration is in.

Concerned Parent said...

What is the registration age? Can a person enter the tournament at age 12 with parental consent?

Bebs said...

I believe any age can compete with a parent's consent in the WBO.

That sounds great! You should contact the WBO on their forums - they have a system in place for organizing tournaments, so you can probably get something going with the bladers you know :)
